Anyone sleeping on a Nectar mattress over 250 lbs

I'm around 270 lbs and side/back combo sleeper. Been eyeing the Nectar Premier but worried about sinkage and edge support. Anyone here over 250 lbs actually sleeping on a Nectar? How's it holding up after a year? Any sagging or lower back pain? Would appreciate real experiences.

I'm 260 and had the original Nectar for about 18 months. It was fine at first but stared to dip where I sit to put socks on. Not terrible but noticeable. Side sleeping got a bit rough toward the end.

Following. I'm 280 and also curious. The return policy seems decent but I hate the idea of hauling a mattress back out.

Did you even search? There's like 5 threads on this already. Anyway, my brother is 300+ and hated his Nectar. Said it felt like quicksand after 6 months. But he's also picky.

I'm 255 and have the Nectar Premier Copper. It's firmer than the regular one. No sagging yet after 8 months. Edge support is still meh though, especially if you sit on the edge. For sleeping it's been okay. I rotate it every 3 months which might help.

Quicksand is a good description. I'm 240 and felt like I was sinking too much. Can't imagine 270+. Maybe look at something with coils if you're heavy. Just my 2 cents.

All these mattresse in a box are the same. It's foam. Foam sags. Buy a real bed. End of story.

That's not true though. Density matters. Nectar uses 3lb memory foam I think? Higher density foam holds up better. But yeah, if you're over 250 you might want to check the warranty terms. Some companies void it if you don't use a proper foundation.

I'm 265 and slept on a Nectar for 2 years. It was okay but I defintely felt like I was working harder to turn over. Switched to a hybrid with coils and it's night and day. The Nectar is now in the guest room. No visible sagging though.

My husband is 290 and we have the Nectar king. It's been 14 months. He says it's fine but I can see a slight indentation on his side. He's a back sleeper. He doesn't complain about pain, so there's that. But he's not picky either.

Rotate it. That's the secret. I'm 250 and rotate every 2 months. No issues after a year. Also use a mattress protector, keeps it from getting gross.

Rotating only works if it's not a one-sided mattress. Nectar is one-sided I think. So rotating just means head to foot. Still helps but limited.
